1. Are the athletes pictured here the only Bell Champions?
No, any athlete that speaks to, or on behalf of, Bell Canada is a Bell Champion. The world-class athletes pictured here are the current spokespeople for the Bell Champions program, led by five-time Olympian Charmaine Crooks.
2. Are organizations or the general public able to ‘book’ Bell Champions for events?
No; however athletes can be booked through the Canadian Olympic Committee’s program Olympic Voice
3. How are Bell Champions chosen to participate in this program?
Bell Champions will be performing various roles (E.G. employee events, autograph signings, etc.) and selection is based primarily on an athlete’s personal compatibility with the audience and event theme.
4. Are athletes paid to participate?
Athletes are generally compensated for their appearance; the actual amount varies depending on the individual athlete and the services required.
